Alternative: Barcelona Card
Are you planning to visit a lot of museums during your trip to Barcelona and travel frequently by public transport? Then we recommend the Barcelona Card.
The Barcelona Card is a discount card that comes in 3, 4 or 5 day variants and offers an extensive list of discounts.
It also includes unlimited, free access to Barcelona’s public transport network.
The only disadvantage: the discount on the most popular highlights is not very high.
We recommend the Barcelona Card only in case you plan to do a museum marathon in Barcelona or use public transport a lot.
But also keep in mind that Barcelona is quite accessible for walking and you can rent a bike to get around.
